How to host

Here are our four easy steps to being the host with the most delightfully devious murder mystery party the town has ever seen.

Like true COVID-era entrepreneurs, we’ve ensured our games can be hosted both live and virtually.

Decide on how many characters you need, and your favourite theme. All our games come with bonus characters that are ideal for any players who aren’t 100% sure they can make it to the party. If they don’t show up, there’s no need to worry. The mystery will still work perfectly without them.
Before your party, you’ll need to send everyone their digital suspect guide. We’ll provide you some spoiler-free tips on how to assign your guests their characters. Remember, in our mysteries, the host gets to play.
You and your guests don’t need to worry about printing your guides. We optimise our games to be played on computers, tablets and mobile phones.
Gather your guests and set the scene by playing the announcement video. Now it’s time to dive into the investigation. This is a game of social deduction. Working in small groups, your players will ask each other questions, uncover hidden secrets and slowly but surely crack the case. We’ll provide you with a simple guide on how to organise the groups so everyone gets a chance to speak with every other player.
Once everyone has sussed out who they think is the killer, it’s time for the big reveal. Record everyone’s final answers and then play the Big Reveal video. Whether or not you solved the case, congratulate yourself for hosting a killer murder mystery!
